Among its work priorities, the General Directorate of Taxes aims to provide services at a lesser cost and on a short time to all taxpayers.
The provision of a considerable number of services online has significantly reduced visits at the front desks of 14 Taxpayers’ Service offices nation-wide.
Referring to the data for January – November 2018, around 35,200 certificates have been delivered in the front desks. Such figure is approximately 84% lower compared to the same period in 2017, when more than 215,000 certificates have been delivered in the front desks.
The GDT would like to encourage all taxpayers to benefit from the provision of services via the e-Albania platform in order to save time and minimise their administrative costs.
