The RDT of Gjirokastra holds an informative meeting with taxpayers on the Fiscal Package 2019

The Regional Directorate of Taxes held an informative meeting where the legal amendments of the Fiscal Package 2019 were presented. The meeting was attended by more than 30 economists and accounting experts, who represent the majority of taxpayers of the region.

The experts from the General Directorate of Taxes addressed the participants on the main amendments to the tax legislation, which mainly related to the tax procedures, income tax, VAT tax and national taxes.

During his speech, the director of the RDT in Gjirokastra, Mr Ilir Meta, stated that the taxpayers in this region can receive at any time the required information and assistance to better understand the legal amendments in force. The businesses are receiving information on their business site by the Taxpayers’ Service employees as well, who are disseminating brochures and information leaflets.

The business representatives appreciated the professional commitment of the Tax Administration to inform on specific legal issues that affect the development of their entrepreneurship, regarding which tangible proposals emerged.
