The GDT continues with its verifications for taxpayers not registered under the Withholding Tax

The General Directorate of Taxes is verifying the taxpayers which are active, but not registered under the tax liability of Withholding Tax, taxpayers that are registered, but do not pay the Tax on Rent, as well as taxpayers that pay this tax, but its value must match pursuant to the DCM No. 469, dated 03/06/2015 “On defining the minimum value of the reference prices of rents for tax purposes”.

Referring to the data, 2,574 taxpayers have been registered under the tax liability of Withholding Tax until now, whereas 1,024 taxpayers who had given up this liability and declared it as zero, now do pay it.

The General Directorate of Taxes, would like to encourage all taxpayers that are not yet subject to the payment of the Rent on Tax to register and pay their liability pursuant to the legislation in force.
