Meeting with IMF; progress with revenues and reforms is appraised
The Deputy General Director of Taxes, Mr Xhavit Çurri, welcomed in a meeting the representatives of the International Monetary Fund mission led by Mrs Svetlana Cerovic and Mrs Armine Khachatryan.
The meeting focused on the collection of revenues from the Tax Administration, as well as on expectations for the rest of 2018.
Moreover, during the meeting, attention was dedicated to the anti-informality campaign currently under implementation, as well as the reforms being undertaken by the Tax Administration received positive remarks.
Experts of the IMF are currently assisting the Tax Administration to improve the quality of inspections, as well as to professionally enhance human resources.
