The GDT received the award of excellence for “Public Services 2018”

The General Directorate of Taxes was granted with the award of the best public institution in the event on “Awards of excellence for public services 2018”. Moreover, an award was also granted to the Regional Directorate of Taxes in Korça, as the best branch.

The performance evaluation in the provision of public services by the central institutions was given in the framework of the project “Mysterious client”.

The visits from the “mysterious clients” were conducted in various regional directorates and aimed at closely witnessing the behavior of the administration toward the public and service delivery, a practice based on successful experiences.

The project was carried out by three civil society organizations: Institute for Development Research and Alternatives (IDRA), the Centre Gender Alliance for Development (GADC) and the Centre for Information and Development (CID).
