The Call Centre maintains an intensive communication with the businesses operating in the tourism sector

In the framework of the plan of measures focused on tourism that is being implemented by the General Directorate of Taxes, just for July, approximately 810 entities conducting a business activity have been informed by the Call Centre.

The entities in the touristic areas were reminded of the core rules and liabilities such as: selling every good or service with a tax coupon or tax invoice, declaring their employees, declaring payments and taxes on due time in order not to be penalized, declaring the real value of the turnover, and of the obligation to perform the payment.

The General Directorate of Taxes will continuously inform the taxpayers that conduct their activity in the touristic areas, on the accurate implementation of the legislation, as well as on the self-declaration within the deadlines.
