The Tax Investigation at the Central Region continues with its inspections; entities in Tirana, Durres and Korça have been seized.

The Tax Investigation Directorate at the Central Region is exercising thorough inspections against entities that operate in the touristic areas of Durres and Korça, from Gjiri i Lalzit to Spille and from Pogradec to Dardha and Voskopoja.

The investigative specialized structures of this directorate have observed entities that were not registered in the Tax Authorities, and have not issued tax coupons for the sales performed.

More specifically, the following measures have been taken:

 

  • For the entity “Zgara Fierza” located at “Pazari i Ri” in Tirana, penalization for failure to issue a tax coupon for the second time and seizure of the activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the entity Osman Friza located at “Shkembi i Kavajes” in Durres, penalization for failure to issue a tax coupon for the second time and seizure of the activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the entity “Pizza Garden Hallall” located in Golem, Durres, not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.
  • For the entity bar-restaurant “Kristal” located in Tushemisht, Pogradec, penalization for failure to issue a tax coupon for the second time and seizure of the activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the entity Elton Mitaçe located in Korça, penalization for failure to issue a tax coupon for the second time and seizure of the activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the entity Arben Sparthi located in Pirg, Korça, penalization for failure to issue a tax coupon for the second time and seizure of the activity for 30 calendar days.
  • For the entity Mimoza Hoxhallari located in Korça, not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.

 

The Tax Investigation Directorate at the Central Region would like to make an appeal to all taxpayers that conduct a business activity to accurately fulfil their legal obligations in order to ensure fair competition and reduce informality.
