The Directorate of Tax Investigation in the Southern Region deepens its inspections; unregistered entities have been seized

The Directorate of Tax Investigation in the Southern Region has intensified its inspections and verifications to reduce fiscal evasion in the framework of implementing the plan of measures for the touristic season.

Referring to the data from this structure, during the conducted inspections the inspectors have found entities unregistered in the Tax Authorities, and they have not issued tax coupons as well. The following measures were taken for these entities:

• For the entity Stavri Ndreca located along the road of Saranda – Bistrica, not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.
• For the entity Hasie Bani located along the road of Saranda – Gjirokastra, not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.
• For the entity Ridvan Malaj located in Livadh, penalization for failure to issue a tax coupon for the second time and seizure of the activity for 30 calendar days.
• For the entity Leonidha Manaj located in Saranda, penalization for failure to issue a tax coupon for the second time and seizure of the activity for 30 calendar days.
• For the entity Irineos Bello located in Saranda, not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.
• For the entity Dionis Likoka located in Borsh, a hotel not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.
• For the entity Vasilika Lapaj located in Saranda, a hotel not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.
• For the entity Thimjo Gjinuci located in Himara, not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.
• For the entity Artjon Nika, wholesale and various items, located in Saranda, not registered in the Tax Authorities, seizure till its registration as a VAT entity.

The Tax Investigation Directorate at the GDT would like to attract the attention of all taxpayers that operate in the touristic areas to respect legal obligations in order to ensure a positive progress of the summer season.
