The 3 inspectors of the Tax Investigation Directorate of the Southern Region, involved in a corruption act, have been immediately dismissed

Based on the video images broadcasted today in the evening during the investigative TV show “Fiks Fare” in Top Channel, the General Directorate of Taxes decided to immediately dismiss the 3 inspectors involved in an unpleasant corruptive act.

The General Directorate of Taxes, would like to use this opportunity to express its gratitude again to the investigative TV show “Fiks Fare”, but also the entrepreneurs for their contribution to the fight against corruption and in identifying these cases among the Tax Administration officials.

The General Directorate of Taxes would like to ensure that no unethical and abusive behaviour shall be tolerated against the businesses, which also violate the principles leading this institution.

The GDT would like to ensure the media, entrepreneurship and citizens that it will continue to work with professionalism, and invites everyone to be on its side and report every such corruptive case through communication channels.
