October 10th is the last deadline to declare the respective books for the small taxpayers included in the VAT scheme
The General Directorate of Taxes would like to remind to all small business taxpayers with a turnover ranging between 2-5 million ALL that October 10th, 2018 is the last deadline to declare and submit the books of sales and purchases for July, August and September 2018.
The Tax Administration has emphasised since the very start of this process that such obligation does not bear any penalty, but that it must be accomplished by the taxpayers as these data constitute the basis to further fulfil the simplified VAT declaration.
Referring to the data owned by the GDT, 11,493 small business entities submitted the VAT declaration for June 2018 within the respective deadline and without any penalties.
The Tax Administration is ready to assist you during the process of filling in and submitting the books of sales and purchases. Therefore, we would like to invite you to visit the “Corner of Assistance” dedicated to small business, at every Regional Directorate of Taxes.
