Fiscal visits conducted at the taxpayers in the area of construction and fuels that have declared a reduction in turnover

The General Directorate of Taxes, based on the analysis of the performance indicators for January – August 2018, has observed that there are taxpayers, especially those operating in the economic sector of construction and fuels trade, that have declared a reduction in turnover.

This means that the level of tax incompliance from these taxpayers operating in these sectors is at inadequate levels.

Given this observation, the GDT informs that these taxpayers will be subject to fiscal visits.

The Tax Administration would like to inform you that no law violation will be tolerated. Therefore, to support this position, all taxpayers are invited to correct self-declarations.

In no case the aim of the Tax Administration is to impose penalties, but the voluntary compliance with the liabilities imposed by the effective legislation.
