2 Implementation Inspectors at the Tax Investigation Directorate, Central Region, involved in an act of corruption have been dismissed

Given the video recordings publicly broadcasted by the investigative TV show “Fiks Fare” in Top Channel, as well as based on the investigation from the Anticorruption structures at the GDT, the General Directorate of Taxes decided to immediately dismiss from duty the inspectors involved in such an unpleasant corruptive act.

The General Directorate of Taxes would like to use this opportunity to express its gratitude to the media and, especially for this case to the investigative TV show “Fiks Fare, but also the entrepreneurs for their contribution in the fight against corruption among the Tax Administration employees.

The General Directorate of Taxes would like to ensure the media, businesses and citizens that the fight against corruptive cases or abuses against the businesses will continue effortlessly and without any compromise by the adequate structures of the Tax Administration, and it invites them all to be on its side to report every similar case through communication channels.
