The General Directorate of Taxes would like to remind to all taxpayers of small business without VAT, with an annual turnover under ALL 2 million to be careful regarding the reporting of wrong pressures of fiscal equipment in operation.
Based on the data from the turnovers reported from fiscal equipment, the Risk Directorate at the General Directorate of Taxes has observed that many small business entities without VAT report abnormal values of their activity, mainly due to the wrong pressures of fiscal equipment.
The Tax Administration would like to inform you that the taxpayers shall be obliged to refer all cases of wrong pressures of fiscal equipment at the Regional Directorates of Taxes, in the jurisdiction of the entity, as per the respective minutes.
Any failure to report wrong pressures of fiscal equipment by the taxpayer will lead to a change by the Tax Administration, based on the available data, of the tax liability from the existing one to the tax liability of “Small business with VAT”.
The Tax Administration remains committed to correctly inform the taxpayers on the rights and liabilities arising for them.
