The Call Centre continues with the information campaign for small business included in the VAT regime

The Call Centre at the General Directorate of Taxes continues its communications with the small taxpayers, that are now part of the VAT scheme.

By means of this communication, this category of taxpayers has been instructed regarding their obligation to change the fiscal equipment liability, as well as to be equipped with VAT tax invoices books, conduct inventories, keep the books of sales and purchases and, above all, to ask for VAT invoices when purchasing and sell with VAT.

In the first four months of the year 4770 entities have preferred to get informed over the phone to get acquainted with their liabilities in transferring to the VAT scheme.

10,291 phone calls have been done for January-April 2018 from the employees of the Call Centre to these businesses.

Moreover, the taxpayers are encouraged to use as a channel of communication Live Chat as well. In the first four months of the year, 2527 taxpayers have received information through this service.

You can contact the Call Centre by calling at the green line 0800 00 02. An operator will provide you assistance on real time from Monday to Thursday, 08:30 – 18:00 and on Friday, 08:30 – 16:00.
