The Operational Plan of the Tax Investigation Directorate for April-May 2018 is approved

The General Directorate of Taxes held on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018, the meeting of the “Operational Committee” No. 11 on the “Approval of the Operational Plan for the period April – May 2018”, of the Tax Investigation Directorate. This plan has been drafted to prevent, detect and punish fiscal evasion and illegitimacy in the area of taxes. 

Its implementation will be extended throughout the territory of the country, having as a main objective:

 -The collection of created debts  

-The active taxpayers that go to passive status due to the change in tax liability   

-The verification of entities regarding the issuance of tax coupon according to the real value of the product/service compared to the list of prices displayed.

Moreover, the focus of the Tax Investigation Directorate work for this period will be the entities engaged on performing public works. Whereas, in the construction sector, the inspections will be concentrated in verifying the current situation, as well as verifying the number of employees.

The General Directorate of Taxes remains committed to encourage all taxpayers to voluntarily fulfil all legal obligations, but also to report cases of abuse from the Tax Administration.
