Calendar of trainings for small business to be included in the VAT scheme
As of March 5th, the General Directorate of Taxes would like to invite all small businesses and their representatives, as well as the interested persons that will be included for the first time in the VAT scheme, to be part of the dedicated trainings of the Regional Directorates of Taxes.
Pursuant to the Law No. 92/2014 “On VAT in the Republic of Albania”, as amended, Article 107/5 in the DCM No. 953, dated 29/12/2014, on the implementing provisions of the Law No. 92/2014 “On Value Added Tax in the Republic of Albania, as amended, Article 1, the minimum threshold of registration to the value added tax, which enters into force as of April 1st, 2018, is a turnover of ALL 2,000,000 (two million) in one calendar year.
All those businesses that fulfil this legal criterion, will be assisted by these trainings to be acquainted in more details with the procedure to be followed in order to comply with the legal obligations, the general concepts of VAT, the manner of filling in and deadlines of declaration of VAT, sales and purchase books, filling in and declaring these books, filling in a tax invoice, etc.
The calendar of trainings has been designed to help these businesses according to their geographical extension. The General Directorate of Taxes is ready and possesses all the capacities to increase the number of trainings if this will be necessary.
Through a preliminary work, the General Directorate of Taxes has trained and engaged its best experts throughout the country, in order to provide assistance and inform as many entrepreneurs as possible that will be included for the first time in the VAT scheme.
Any entity interested to participate in these trainings can first contact the respective employee of the administration, responsible for the organization and well-progress of the training, as well as to book his attendance.
