GDT holds a workshop with experts of Microsoft Albania
On February 21st, a workshop was held at the General Directorate of Taxes between the GDT representatives and the experts of Microsoft Albania. The focus of this meeting was to get acquainted with the operational systems that enable the simplification of analysis and reporting processes, which facilitate the everyday work of the Tax Administration.
Microsoft Albania presented the Datawarehouse system with examples how to use it as well as the Power BI – Reporting & Data visualization platform. Some of the advantages that these platforms provide relate to the automatization of a number of processes, receipt of additional information on real time, current data analysis and projections, etc.
The new e-tax system has enhanced the work performance, with automated processes like e-declaration, case management, exchange of data with other institutions and the continuous technological improvement in order to reduce costs, deepen analysis and facilitate the processes for the administration and taxpayers.
