The Tax Investigation structures inspect 324 entities

The Tax Investigation Directorate structures have conducted inspections in 324 commercial entities that mainly operate in the agro-food markets in Tirana, industrial market in Elbasan, market of Shkozet, market in Fier, as well as in the mobility of goods and passengers along the main axis; Tirana-Durres highway, Fier-Vlora, Elbasan, Lezhe-Shkoder, Milot, etc.

During the inspections the following phenomena of avoiding legal liabilities have been observed, specifically;

• Goods that are not accompanied with a tax invoice, or issuance of incorrect invoices in 61 cases or/and lack of installation and lack of operation of the fiscal equipment, failure to issue tickets for the transport of passengers, undeclared employees and deficiencies in the tax documentation;

The respective penalties have been applied for all these phenomena.

The General Directorate of Taxes would like to make an appeal to all entities exercising an economic activity, to abide by the law and correctly keep the fiscal documentation like; the document of the origin of goods (purchase invoice), tax invoices, to correctly use fiscal equipment, to provide passengers with service tickets, to correctly declare and on time their employees, in order not to be penalized and to shorten the duration of verifications in favour of the effective working time of every business.
