Announcement on amendments to the legislation on national taxes
In the framework of the new fiscal package, which will be implemented during 2018 by Law No. 104/2017 “On some amendments to the law No. 9975, dated 28/07/2008 “On national taxes”, as amended, there is a change in the manner of addressing the so called luxurious vehicles, where for tax purposes a “luxurious vehicle” shall be considered the 6+1 vehicles (Article 2(5)), and also Article 11(ç) “Service fees” has been amended, where the tariffs for judicial services have been removed, as they will be reflected in a special law, providing that the scope of the implementation of this law is extended to the tariffs for actions and services of the administration of the Ministry of Justice, Prosecution Office and Notary Public (an amendment that will enter into force on June 1st, 2018).
The law has been published in the Official Journal No. 222, dated 19/12/2017 and shall enter into force on January 1st, 2018, apart from paragraph 2 that enters into force on June 1st, 2018.
