Meeting with IMF; Technical assistance to further strengthen the Tax Administration

The General Director of Taxes, Mrs. Vasilika Vjero, welcomed today senior representatives from the International Monetary Fund, who will assist the Tax Administration in the next two weeks. The IMF Mission headed by Mr. Allan Jensen and other senior representatives, will provide technical assistance in order to facilitate the efforts in further strengthening the Tax Administration.

During the presence of the IMF Mission in the General Directorate of Taxes several issues will be addressed related to the organizational structure, consolidation of capacities in the main components of the administration, focusing on the tax debt and risk, as well as evaluating the overall situation regarding implementation of reforms.
