The Regional Directorate of Taxes in Durres held a meeting with business representatives in the city of Kruja. The main discussions focused on the implementation of the anti-informality action, law on remission and accuracy of keeping the tax documentation by the businesses of this area.
The meeting was in the form of a discussion, where opinions were exchanged and issues concerning the businesses were discussed.
Among others, the business representatives in the city of Kruja asked for fiscal reliefs for craftsmen, that constitute a business category which is very widespread in this city. They highlighted that the simplification of tax procedures and increasing the level of information are very important and a key factor to encouraging and helping this category of businesses to survive.
In the same sense, the Regional Directorate of Taxes in Kukes has persisted with its meetings with business representatives. Anti-informality was the main topic of discussion, where the RDT of Kukes informed the attendees on the progress of such action, whereas the business representatives raised the concern related to entities that operate unregistered, which distort fair competition, as well as related to the existence of unregistered economists that keep the accounts of entities. The Regional Directorate of Taxes in Kukes promised to duly address these problems and invited the business to report any violation of the law, whether from taxpayers or from Tax Administration representatives.
At the end, the parties were positive about the continuation of further cooperation in the fight against informality and tax evasion.
