GDT meets with representatives of the Small Business Association

The General Directorate of Taxes held today a meeting with representatives of the Small Business Association. This meeting focused on exchanging opinions and suggestions regarding the implementation of the anti-informality action, as well as on identifying joint challenges and problems in order to improve cooperation.

The project on the new scheme of extending VAT, increasing the level of taxpayers’ information and facilitating tax procedures for small business, were some of the main issues discussed in this meeting. The participants expressed their readiness to cooperate in order to raise awareness among the members of this association and beyond, use fiscal equipment and issue the tax coupon, as relevant elements toward the formalization of the economy.

The Tax Administration would like to express its readiness to be an active part of other round tables of discussion in order to duly address all the concerns of the business related to its performance.
