GDT continues meetings with the taxpayers

During today the Regional Directorates of Taxes of Saranda, Kukesi and Gjirokastra held meetings with several taxpayers in order to inform the business and integrate the latter in the implementation of the anti-informality plan.

These discussion tables which have been welcomed by the businesses, enabled the Tax Administration to inform the taxpayers on the measures to prevent fraud, on the importance of issuing a coupon, on fiscal memory devices, on declarations etc. The discussions also focused on such topics as the unfair competition in the accommodation sector, where the taxpayers themselves illustrated some concrete cases of unregistered entities.

The Tax Administration is focused on increasing awareness among the business on voluntary declarations as well as transparency as an important element to strengthen the connecting bridge with the taxpayers.
