Announcement for taxpayers that submit a request for refunding of VAT

We would like to remind to all taxpayers who submit a request for refunding of VAT at the General Directorate of Taxes, that at the same time with the request for refunding, they shall submit at the Directorate for VAT Refunding at the GDT the original statement from the second level bank of the account number in ALL (IBAN) of the business where the amount of refunding will be transferred to.

This documentation shall be submitted by:

•Taxpayers that submit for the first time a request for VAT refunding at the Directorate for VAT Refunding at the General Directorate of Taxes and,
•Taxpayers that ask for the amount to be transferred to a new account, different from the one where previous refunds have been transferred to.
