Around 1740 informative visits have been conducted on-site in March with small businesses that will be included in the VAT scheme
From March 5th until now, the dedicated persons of the Taxpayers’ Service have conducted around 1740 informative visits nation-wide, in those entities to be included in the VAT scheme, as of April 1st, 2018.
The General Directorate of Taxes is engaging its best employees to provide assistance and as comprehensive information as possible to all entities identified for inclusion in this range.
They conduct “face to face” meetings, during which they disseminate leaflets, as well as other informative materials, necessary for this business range.
The General Directorate of Taxes would like to highlight the fact that registration to VAT of these businesses encourages the documentation of transactions and the formalization of all economic operators, as well as for the small business with a turnover from ALL 2 to 5 million.
The informative visits on field will also continue during the next months in order for all the businesses of this category to get acquainted with the procedures, as well as with the obligations arising after April 1st.
