The Call Centre at the General Directorate of Taxes still continues to communicate with small taxpayers that have become part of the VAT scheme.

The aim of this communication is to assist this category regarding any unclarities, concerns or barriers to fulfil the necessary legal steps until the first tax declaration for VAT.

The Call Centre continuously provides to the entrepreneurs and citizens free information and assistance regarding the concerns that they have.

Therefore, since February 14th, 2018, all taxpayers have been contacted, who have been informed on the transfer to the VAT scheme. The taxpayers have been instructed regarding their obligation to change the fiscal equipment liability, as well as to be equipped with VAT tax invoice books, carry out inventories, keep books of sales and purchases and, above all, to purchase and sale with VAT invoices.

3558 of them have been informed on the training sessions held by the respective regional directorates, according to the calendar published in the official website of the General Directorate of Taxes.

927 taxpayers have preferred to be assisted by the Call Centre over the phone regarding the steps to be taken in order to comply with the legal obligation to register in the VAT scheme.

Moreover, the taxpayers are encouraged to use as a communication channel the Live Chat as well. 1807 taxpayers have received information through this service during the first three months of the year.
